
Liberia’s government is prosecuting three central bank board members and the bank’s former governor, in its latest controversial attempt to prove that officials stole banknotes. Former Central Bank of Liberia governor Milton Weeks is facing charges including “economic sabotage” and criminal conspiracy in a court in Monrovia.
