This is a major progress in digital RMB, which means that digital RMB is coming closer to life. How to treat China’s digital RMB as a pilot? The people’s Bank of China began to study the legal digital currency since 2014. However, it is still in the process of research and testing. Last year, there was news of trading “DC / EP” or “DCEP” in the market, but the central bank issued a clarification notice at that time, and the “DC / EP” or “DCEP” in the market were both illegal Fixed number currency. The Ministry of Commerce announced the pilot areas of digital RMB, indicating that digital RMB has officially entered the pilot operation stage from the research stage. There is a difference between digital RMB and traditional bitcoin. Bitcoin is a de sovereign virtual currency and is not linked with the currency of any country. The value of these virtual currencies fluctuates with the trading market. If no country recognizes its value in the future, it will be worthless in essence. The digital currency of the central bank is the digital currency of RMB, which has the same value as the RMB we use.
