September 6 (ChainDD) According to the Beijing News, former vice minister of The Ministry of Finance Guangyao Zhu said at Fin-Talk forum, a high-level dialogue between Chinese and foreign financial institutions at the China (Beijing) International Fair for Trade in Services, that digital currency is one of the most basic policy frameworks for the development of digital economy.
Zhu believes that until now, digital money has been seen as the supplement of base money, that is, in the category of cash supplement. As an economic form, it must be raised to the level of recognition as a legal tender.
